Easy Content Units are a great way to showcase products easily on a webpage. The free version uses javascript which I understand means the content unit is unable to be read by Google.

WordPress was originally intended as a blogging platform but it can also be used to build a website like this.

Ad Injection – automatically puts Adsense or other ads into your pages/posts. Lots of control and options for split testing.
HungryFEED – puts the contents of an RSS feed into a post/page. I use this for EPN.
J-Shortcodes – Quick and painless way to add pretty buttons, boxes, columns and even image galleries!
WordPress SEO by Yoast – who doesn’t need SEO? With Facebook integration, etc.
